Let’s start with the global shift that’s transpiring right under our noses as we speak.
Women in the US presently control $10 trillion in financial assets. By 2030, women are expected to control $30 trillion. This 3X increase is largely due to the Great Wealth Transfer we are currently undergoing, where Next-Gen women will be inheriting significant wealth from Baby Boomers.
Globally, an even larger number looms. By 2045, it is expected that approximately $84 trillion will pass from Baby Boomers to women and Next-Gen (largely Gen X and Millennials) investors.
This wealth transfer is reshaping the landscape of financial decision-making and investment priorities worldwide.

Why is this a big deal?
Women utilize money in a different way than past groups and generations. With more conscious use in investments and beyond, the women who are set to control this massive wealth transfer are expected to reshape wealth priorities toward social impact, sustainability, and technology-driven investments.
Not only is this the largest wealth transfer in history, but it holds huge implications for who will control it and how it will reshape the world.
With this new, unprecedented financial power, we can expect to see a ripple effect in global wealth management, leadership, and impact.
An interesting and important question to pose to yourself today – What would you do if you suddenly found yourself in charge of a portion of this wealth?
What is most important to you? What is your highest vision of what the economy and world could look like with money being handled and invested in a different way?
Perhaps one of the most beneficial (and dare-we-say spiritual) things we can do for the planet and our global collective is to ethically acquire resources and use them for good.
This shift would need to involve:
Greater financial literacy for women
Wealth management led by more women than we see in today’s landscape
Resources for women-led businesses (of all sizes) to get the support and funding they need for growth
A shift from transactional relationships and investments to connection, sustainable, and ethical ones

The cultural shift is going to include a move from profit-driven investing to purpose-driven investing.
The data supports that women, especially in the generations following the Baby Boomers, will prioritize long-term, socially conscious investments.
The greatest amount of money and assets passing hands in the Great Wealth Transfer will occur in the USA and Europe. It is happening as we speak.
Recently, the Global Head of Citi Private Bank, Ida Liu, spoke to the implications of this event, highlighting this marked and historical pass of wealth into the hands of not just Next-Gen humans, but Next-Gen women.
This shift will see women, who currently control ⅓ of the financial wealth market, take over 50% of the global wealth market out there today.
What will happen when this occurs?
The priorities of how this money is utilized and invested will drastically shift, as stated previously. Purpose is the bottom line in this conversion. “Impact, too – doing good with their investments” Liu commented.
What else will need to happen? From Liu’s perspective:
The setting up of more family offices
The need to lean in to educate not only new female clients of banks, but overall education in financial literacy for women as a whole
“To inspire, to elevate, to make sure that they [women on the receiving end of this wealth transfer] have the right platforms for networking, learning, and the like.” (Liu)
It’s true – we do need to make sure the right resources and support are available. It’s not just a want to have, but a need to have.
Further shifts we can expect to see include:
The rise of women-led financial firms and initiatives
Prioritization of sustainability and ethical investing
Trends in alternative assets like crypto, NFTs, and impact investing
Changing role of advisors and firms to more holistic, life-aligned advising
And it won’t just be inheritances that we see shifting hands in this great transfer of wealth, but in leadership.
Chief, the private network for women executives, is a key example of how women are redefining leadership at the highest level.
Chief raised $100 million at a $1.1 billion valuation in 2022, reflecting the growing demand for platforms that elevate and empower women in leadership. Chief symbolizes the power of networks, and the need for spaces that foster community, influences, and collaboration.
Chief also reflects how many women are sitting in positions of greater and greater power and influence in business – and how championing, resourcing, and supporting women in this context will further influence the global shift we will see in leadership, priorities, and financial power.
Women are the architects of tomorrow’s boardrooms.
Regal Resilience – with a brand new, patented Community Commerce Platform (launching January 20th) – is focused largely in supporting women-founded and led startups.
Women, especially Millennials, are increasingly directing their wealth into startups that reflect their values, creating a wave of innovation – which is only expected to grow – in industries like tech, sustainability, and wellness.
Furthermore, data shows that younger investors are more likely to back startups in emerging fields like climatetech, fintech, and digital health.
Oftentimes, for female founders and co-founders in these areas, they are led not only by ability, but strong purpose and vision, but don’t have (get) access to the capital or funding needed to grow or be highly competitive. (Even though women-led startups deliver 35% higher return of investment (Kauffman Foundation).
Regal Resilience is positioned to be a positive force in changing this fact.
An increase of women in venture capital will make a huge difference in this regard. Presently, female-founded funds like All Raise and Female Founders Fund are pushing for equity in funding, and this trend is expected to continue.
Why? For one, Boston Consulting Group (BCG) found that for every dollar of funding, startups founded or cofounded by women generated 78 cents in revenue, while male-founded companies generated only 31 cents.
These insights not only highlight the strong performance and value women-led startups bring to the entrepreneurial space, but show how much good and positive impact women can have when they are already more centered around social impact, sustainability, and innovation in tech.
Charles Eisenstein’s Sacred Economics emphasized transitioning from a transactional mindset to one rooted in connection, generosity, and purpose. This concept becomes especially revelation during this history Great Wealth Transfer, in the context of female and Next-Gen investors who prioritize:
Sustainability and Purpose-Driven Initiatives
Community Impact
Philanthropy
More than any other time in history, the present Great Wealth Transfer and global shift into a global financial market that is over 50% controlled by women presents a unique and world-shifting opportunity to redefine wealth as a tool for harmony, environmental stewardship, and addressing global inequality.

What if wealth will be, or can be, redefined as sacred, and a tool for good?
Women and Next-Gen investors aren’t just inheriting wealth – they’re shaping the future by directing it into startups, leadership platforms, and innovative economic models and investments.
We are on the precipice of a historic, revolutionary time – and look with bright eyes toward the possibility and positive implications of what is to come.
