As we begin this week, I find myself reflecting on a concept deeply ingrained in our existence: resilience. This understated yet potent force drives us beyond our struggles, celebrating our victories over life's challenges.

I recall a visit to a ranch that was located on sacred land in Sedona, Arizona, where in the midst of the desert landscape I witnessed a flower blooming. This image resonated profoundly with me, and I stopped for a moment to celebrate the beauty of contrast.  This flower symbolized the resilient human spirit. 

Life persists in environments that promise only hardship. This flower, against all odds, found its path to growth, reaching out for sunlight and flourishing. This echoed a profound truth: resilience often arises from adversity, blossoming where least expected.

“Resilience is the courage to grow from challenges, to bloom where we are planted, no matter how tough the soil.”

I invite you to reflect on your moments of resilience, perhaps found in unexpected ways or places. How have these shaped your path? What 'cracks' have you grown through, reaching for your sunlight?
