And – The Future Is NOW:
Math wasn’t exactly my favorite subject growing up (team English, anyone?), but here’s the thing about math: it doesn’t have an opinion or bias—it just gives you the facts.
In this email we're going to play a numbers game. Ready?
Let's lay them out:
60%. That’s how much of the U.S. economy—aka a whopping $16.3 trillion—is powered by diverse markets and women. Yes, you read that right. 60%.
Let it simmer for a second.
Now, let’s take it a step further:
- In the next 5 years, a massive wealth transfer will shift even more power into the hands of women.
- In the next 10 years, the so-called "minority" will officially be the majority.
Translation?
Diversity isn’t just “the future” anymore—it’s the right now. And businesses need to catch up. And be massively in touch and on board to understand the magnitude of what is unfolding.
On Sunday evening at the Grammy's, Alicia Keys was awarded the Dr. Dre Global Impact Award.

Introducing her, Queen Latifah recognized Keys as “a visionary, a trailblazer, and a global inspiration.”
Beyond her impact alone (raising millions for children’s charities), Keys noted in her acceptance speech:
“I always had to fight for a certain level of respect as a songwriter, a composer and especially a producer. It’s strange that we don’t think of women as producers like Quincy or Dre or Swizzy, but female producers have always powered the industry.”
Whether or not it's been recognized, women have powered the economy and have been powerhouses in many industries, including music and music production, for DECADES.
It has often, and most notably, just happened without proper recognition.
In her acceptance speech, she also criticized Trump's executive orders focused on rolling back diversity, equity, and inclusion (to read more about equity - check out last week's newsletter).
As she spoke these words, the crowd clapped, roared, and shouted in agreement and support:
“This is not the time to shut down a diversity of voices. We’ve seen on this stage talented, hard-working people from different backgrounds with different points of view, and it changes the game. DEI is not a threat — it’s a gift. The more voices, the more powerful the sound. When destructive forces try to burn us down, we rise from the ashes like a phoenix. And as you see tonight, music is the unstoppable language that connects us all.”
Diversity (and embracing it) is what makes our country beautiful.
It's the foundation of America — which so many seem to have forgotten. We are a country of immigrants (since the very beginning!).
We are a melting pot. We are the amalgamation of cultures and nationalities spanning the globe.
It is what makes America. Not what makes us weak.
What makes us strong, real, and true.
It all ties together…
Sometimes we stumble across wisdom capsules from the past that can serve us in the present. I recently came across something that seems to tie all of this together:
I came across a video about MLK Jr sharing that, days before his assassination, he was feeling uneasy…
He quoted James Baldwin saying,
“What advantage is there in integrating into a burning house.”
Perhaps the disintegration of DEI as we know it is because it ISN’T exactly what we need. We need more, and better.
Why would we want to integrate into a system that we know is broken?
We’re in a massive cultural and collective shift.
For Indigenous peoples, this shift has long been foretold.
The Inca sages call it the Pachacuti—the ‘Time to Come’—a sacred era of upheaval, transformation, and renewal. Prophecies from the Hopi, Maya, and other wisdom traditions speak of this moment as a crossroads, where humanity must choose between disharmony and rebirth.
The old world is crumbling, but in its place, we have the opportunity to build something new—rooted in balance, collaboration, and a deep reconnection with ourselves, others, and the Earth.
This connects to the heart of our mission.
Regal Resilience is not just a community commerce platform changing the way we share and sell online. (If you want to be a part of our revolution — schedule time with me to chat about a Strategic Partner license or come in as a monthly member here — currently $49 for Founding Members before it rises to $99)
We are a network that actively supports and champions women and diversity and the things that make us unique, powerful, and strong (stronger, together).
We are HERE for the phoenix energy... this is not a time to be in fear. This is a time to look at what is happening (again, look at the numbers!) and hold a positive vision for the future. We are stronger, together.
And... the numbers don't lie. Regardless of bias in politics and beyond, we are in the midst of a massive economic shift.
Phoenix energy... it may look like things are burning. And in some ways, things are. But this is a transmutation. And we rise from the ashes.
Stronger. United. Resilient.
This is the revolution.
Con Mucho Amor,
Tanyette
