How to Unlearn the Hustle

Fueled by Self Sacrifice

Guest Post by: Dominique Osborne

Hello dear ones, so since sharing my raw story, for the first time at the Regal Resilience event this past December…. I’ve been germinating.

Sharing my journey, as dark and some times painful as it was, has been an incredibly powerful experience.

After sharing, I took a few months to go inwards… to sit in my darkness and shed light on any shadows I’ve been overlooking.

What I brought to light from this time was an old narrative that I needed to hustle, to grind… that this was the only path for me as a high school drop out teen mom.

That’s what got me to where I am today and if I give that up — I lose everything that I have created.

WRONG

I’m here to share with you today, that speaking my story for the first time— was an honor, and much of my story was hustle and grind. Blood, sweat, and tears my way to the top.

I’ve been quiet since December because I was cultivating new programing, a new reality, a refreshed truth.

I am UN LEARNING-Hustle.

There’s a connotation behind hustle, of self sacrifice.

I’m no longer willing to operate from this energy.

I’ve always been a fabulous risk-taker…From here on my risk taking— will only be driven when I KNOW that the outcome will be soul nourishing.

My new currency is joy, bliss, connection, collaboration, intention, excitement, love.

My path there will be by listening to my gut, my heart, my intuition. It will be by collaborating and PLAY. It will be by redirecting my beautiful fierceness to calling in LOVE in all directions, channels and aspects of my life.

That is what I demand for myself, that is what I gift myself, and from that place I will be the best goddamn solo parent-high school drop out-teen mom there ever was.

With Love,

Dominique

Sometimes The Thing is the Very Thing.

Written by: Tanyette Colon

A friend and I had a conversation last week and she said, “Sometimes the thing — is the very thing you need — to shift the whole damn thing.” Sounds like a Dr. Seuss riddle but we were discussing how women have to be creative to fund their businesses and how in the perceived challenges — if we are ever so quiet — there is an opportunity to redesign the existing paradigm.

The ethos of the Regal Resilience series - is to have cross-cultural and cross-generational women and their allies come together to share their stories of growth — to intentionally create ecosystem level network effects that drive a sustainable circular economic model, to inspire all of us to redesign the way we speak, build and fund the future companies whose leading North Star states, “Para el bien de todos” which translates to - “For the Good of All”

Looking at the fundamental challenges that exist to grow a business in today’s climate has inspired me to take my knowledge base in building partner ecosystems into the future. I also realized that only 1.2% of women have a net worth of 1 million dollars.

I manifested in a technical co-founder and we have taken the best in AI along with fin tech and harmonized it with the power of community to address the major challenges women experience to grow their companies at every stage. The Regal Resilience Network will reward the entire chain of influence and will create a global co-branding and co-selling engine around these incredible women led businesses in tech and beyond.

Official announcement - will be happening at our Regal Resilience NYC event this Saturday. Our social community launches in 90 days and the vision is a global movement.

If you are interested in being a founding partner feel free to email me here: [email protected]

Adelante as we say in spanish.
