You can do hard things
(thought you needed to hear this)
Hola Regal Ones,
I’m going to keep it short and sweet today.
In last week’s newsletter, I touched on how challenging it can be to be an entrepreneur.
It often feels like you’re on a rollercoaster.
The highs are high and the lows are low, and there is a constant stream of decision-making, pivots, “figuring it out” on the fly, and more.
This applies to life as a whole, too.
If we didn’t have the highs or lows, life would be pretty… bland. And I don’t think that is why we are here.
However, challenging moments and chapters can leave us sometimes exhausted, or doubting ourselves, or even giving up (rather than remembering that on the other side of struggle, often comes great beauty).
So this week I just wanted to offer some perspective and encouragement, and remind you of a few things:
If you need to take a break, take a break. This is a marathon (life, business, you name it), not a sprint. You were not created to do-do-do all of the time. Protect yourself from burnout; give yourself grace.
It’s not only okay to lean on others, it’s necessary. We evolved to thrive in community. And here’s the thing – it makes others feel good to be able to support the people they love, too. The reciprocal side of asking for help is actually the gift of allowing someone to help you. There’s a lot of beauty in that reciprocity.
Stepping away from the “problem” often allows the solution to appear effortlessly. There’s this phenomenon that happens when trying to figure something out… it essentially boils down to the fact that you when you push or force, you’re often going against the natural flow of life. Stepping away from what you’re trying to solve creates a vacuum of sorts, which allows an answer to “magically” pop into your head when you are not focused on solving the problem. So, remember to take a long walk, go to the gym, put away your electronics and have dinner with friends or family – knowing that when you stop trying to push so hard to figure it out, it creates space for a solution to appear.
My hope is that these are a balm to you this week.
A reminder that it’s all going to be okay. That you are doing a good job. That this is a long-game and not everything needs to be done or figured out or “won” right at this moment.

Take a breath. Give yourself a pause or rest. Allow your mind to still.
And remember that up until this point, you have made it through EVERY SINGLE HARD THING that you’ve ever gone through in your life.
And let that be message that you return to when you find yourself in worry, anxiety, or overwhelm.
This week, the mantra is simple: I CAN DO HARD THINGS.

You’ve got this. We’re in this together.
I’m here with you, and for you ♥️
Con Mucho Amor,
Tanyette
PS – A couple things on the docket:
1 – I have an open spot on my calendar this week to speak with someone who is interested in an exclusive partnership license with Regal Resilience. Get access to my calendar and to speak about applying here if you’re interested in a partnership that will support you as woman in business, and support you in moving to your next level in entrepreneurship, health, and life (alongside an incredible, powerhouse community of female leaders). |
2 – We’re still in the midst of completing bringing 30 ecomm businesses onto the RR platform!! Please let me know if you’d like to be a part of this or if you can make an introduction to a brand or founder that would be a great fit. |
3 – We’re looking for mentors on the Regal Platform! This would look like offering an ‘office hour’ weekly, biweekly, or monthly to lend your expertise, guidance, and mentorship to anyone you may be able to help ♥️ |
